I may be asking a stupid question here, but what does Devhook 0.50 offer over 0.46?

I have been running 0.46 and can emulate 2.71 and play all games that I need to..

Does Devhook 0.50 give the ability to play later firmwares? If so what version?

Also, on installation links it talks about flashing.. This wasn't required when running 0.46 - why is this different?

Sorry if this is a really stupid question..

Thanks
Mark

Devhook 0.50 can emulate 2.82(not the latest anyway)

But Devhook o.46 can only emulate to 2.71 only.

Maybe Firmware 2.82 may be able to watch videos/photos clearer and better.

Plus u can't be stuck at Devhook 0.46 forever!
There MAY BE firmware 4.00!! (Next few years/months)
lolz not sure...

(Hey actually ur question is really stupid though, sorry if that hurts)

Simply saying, devhook 0.50 is seemingly a more updated version of 0.46. However, the major drawback is that it's still in it's beta stages with a few glitches with the exiting and some blackouts during game start. I say stick with 0.46 still a complete stable version of devhook come out. And playing 2.8x games is possible with 0.46 fw 2.71/2.81 hybrid.
