Wonder if someone knows the answer to this. I downloaded a movie from the web and when I try to burn it it gives me a message like this " you project contains more PAL material than NTSC but will be encoded in NTSC if you use the current settings. Do you want to change the setting to PAL so it matches the majority of the projects content?
It seem like a good idea to me so I do. Each time(3) I've done it I get a image that I can't watch the vertical hold is off. The sound is ok but really no picture. I am using a AVI file from a rar compressed file to do this and in order for it to make a video dvd Nero has to do make the conversion. The AVI plays fine in the pc and the movie is good butthis transfer is a problem. I am using a new Onkyo dvd/cd player to view the movie.
I'm trying to think of ways to fix this problem. Would changing the speed help? Would keeping it at NTSC setting and recording it that way help? Are there any other things that might help fix this video?

Hi pursuant
When you get the message from Nero click 'no' instead. It will than change to the NTSC format.
That should take care of you playback problem on the player.
