if this has been posted, i apologize (i searched and didn't see anything)

anyway, can i use a regular SD card for the wii rather than the "nintendo approved" SD memory card?

I ask because i bought a 2gb for $30, and the nintendo ones are $60 for 1GB and $100 for 2GB.....so i don't want to waste money.

thanks

got a PS3 on 11/20/06, returned it on 12/17/06

FYI - Not ALL SD Cards will work.

I have several that I originally obtained for my PDA, none of which will function, or can be formatted in my Wii.
