what firmware is your psp and what fw does the game require? if the game requires a higher firmware than what you have you have to use devhook or upgrade your psp

If you have a firmware 1.5 then just put devhook 0.50 on there like they mentioned.

Use Xflash, you can find it here:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/896

You can the "spoof" your firmware, so your PSP thinks it is a higher firmware version.

i dnt think a spoof can ruin your recovery to downgrade again! set it to 9.99 or higher...

psp life = 2.6-1.5 > Custom Firmware Harley G's > 2.0 > 1.5 > C/FW XxPSPmadxX > 2.0 > 1.5 > 2.71 SE-C>swapped 2.5>2.6>1.5>2.0>1.5>3.03 OE-A>3.03OE-B/3.03OE-C
