I just wanted to make sure, but do i replace %_SCE_DH_ENG and _SCE_DH_ENG to my devhook .46? And then i just replace dh over to my psp if i want devhook.50?

Ok, i just wanted to play socom ftb2 online which requires atleast 2.81 fw+. Do i need to download 2.81 fw or something, because when i try launching my psp freezes.

devhook .50 sucks. I liked .46, it worked well. But this .50 has all these mesages and freezes my psp. I just want to play socom online.

When im in devhook, theres no difference of the one i had before, and this one. When i try to launch 2.82 fw, my psp freezes agian??

why have devhook .50 when you can have .51 its better it emulates 3.01
@ravens1 mabey it freezes because you havent proprly installed the firmware yet?

Ok ill try .51fw. But i installed .46 properly with no problems, and for .51fw all i did is replace the dh and sce files.

Sorry for my lost connection with AfterDawn and the PSP forum but I am currently running devhook v0.44.0000 with my PSPv1.5.
What should I be running to play my backups?
Whats the best? Should I just use the latest devhook and install as I did with previous version?

I have a 1.5 PSP not downgraded, and I cannot get either 50 or 51 to work. I Downloaded your 50 and 51 sudds and flashed the memory but when I attempt to load a game it just goes to a black screen. what step am I neglecting to do?

Ok, i do not have a TA-082 mb. i havent even heard of Hen D.
trellaine, try devhook .46 to play your iso's.
vwguy, the same problem is for me. Devhook .50 7 .51 sucks. It freezes for me.

Devhook .50 wont let me use interent. after i select internet the loading circle disappears and when i want to access my memory card same thing happens. It wont open. .5 is absolutely horrible.
i think ill try .51. i downloaded it from Sudds signature and in the readme it says:
Copy fbm and dh to your Memory sticks root.
Copy DH051BETA and %DH051BETA to your GAME folder.
Enjoy.
Sudds.
There is no DH051BETA or %DH051BETA included in the download...

Thanks. Is there much of a difference from devhook 0.44 to 0.46? Will it make a difference. My current devhook seems to play most games but there are some it won't.

.46 probably plays more games. Ive tried like 8 or so and there have been no problems. yeah, so i would just try .46

Oh come on!!! .51 doesnt work either. Whats with the (MS=FLASH) or whatever when in devhook. Whenever i launch any fw version my psp freezes!

Thanks for the link. The tutorial looks pretty good on first glance. It has been a while since I installed the previous version of devhook lol so I need something very clear and concise and this seems like it is. I will try this later on tonight.
Hmm I do play most games now though with older devhook.

I think that the problem when i tried devhook .50 & .51 is because i had a .46 folder in PSP:\\Game. Its called DH_ESC2XX. But i think that might be the devhook escape, but other than that i didnt do anything wrong with the installation. I installed .46 and it works fine..

Hmm sorry for the following but its been awhile with my PSP etc and trying to upgrade from Devhook 0.44 to Devhook 0.46
It seems to have upgraded as my PSP shows "escape devhook from fw2.xx" and "devhook launcher mod 1.35"
Under my settings I have the following:
Target: (reboot XMB)
UMDMode: ISO/ANYUMD
Firm: mso:/dh/271 (ms hook)
UMDver: 2.xx -> 2.00
Autorun: disable
Screen: disable
XMB keys: single-key
Flash 0/1: none/none ???
UBHostFS: disconnected ???
Just wondering if this all correct? I am a non technical person so no idea what all these mean.
What I did was basically "overwrite" the DH and PSP folders from my devhook 0.44
I think I am missing something??? All help is greatly appreciated.

Are these settings in devhook?
Yeah, overwritting the dh and SCE, %SCE folder is what youre supposed to do.
Where does your psp show: "escape devhook from fw2.xx" and "devhook launcher mod 1.35" - when you select memory card in psp? it should say escape devhook from fw2.xx. Can you launch games successfully?

*sigh* thank you for responding. My games do launch but it switches all the text and menus of the games into non english??
I am just thinking maybe I am missing something or downloaded the wrong file?
As for the devhook in my PSP menus:
Escape DEVHOOK from FW2.xx ( what is this? can't get nothing from this)
under that is
DEvicehook--DEVHOOK launcher mod 1.35
Exactly that.
