Hello to anyone who reads this even if you can't help :)
I am having a pain in the ass problem and its driving me mad. I have been able to burn dvd's for over a year now but last week it started playing up and spat every kindo disk i tried out at me. I have a PHILIPS freeline LS1300, i dont know exactly all the quabble you will need if you can help but i'm pasting the log file in of my last failure.
If you can help i'd much appreciate it before the thing gets kicked out for good.

Ok, let's start :-)

Quote:
Nero version: 6.3.1.26
Update your Nero with these two packages; it is old at present.
Package 1
Package 2

Quote:
Disc Manufacturer: UME01 -
These disks are of poor qulaity; use brands Like Verbatim, Sony, Ritek or Taiyo Yuden.

Quote:
Burn process started at 2.4x (3,324 KB/s)
Burning too slowly; burn at, at least, 4-8x.

Your burner doesn't like your media, hence the 0s. Using a better brand (as above) will fix this.

Lastly,

You have Roxio installed, which conflicts with Nero. Run this tool to get rid of it..
http://tools.roxio.com/support/tools/roxizap.exe

Try to burn once you have done all of the above :-)

Get back to me.
