HELP!!! 2.0 to 1.5 downgrade and corrupted data

Just got a used PSP a few days ago and I'm trying to work my way through downgrading. I put "EBOOT.PBP" in the "GAME/UPDATE" folder and "OVERFLOW.tiff" in "PSP/PHOTO" and "INDEX.DAT" and "H.BIN" are in the root of the mem stick. I plugged in the A/C and got the few lines of characters across the top of the screen. And then when I turn the PSP off and then back on and go to access the memory stick I just get the "corrupted data" icon. So I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. Please help me fix this.

go to system settings and see if it says 1.00 or 2.00. if it says 1.00 then delete the update and download from another location and try again.

OK, so I've managed to downgrade to 1.0. When you say to delete the update, do I just delete the files that I copied to the psp? And (sorry) could you be more specific when you say download from another location? And what can I do about that damn corrupt data icon?

here is a 1.50 update that works. delete what ever is in the PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder place the 1.50 eboot in the UPDATE folder and upgrade to 1.5 :)
