Hi, I just got a 2 gig memory stick and i'm thinking about using iso loaders. Problem is that there are soooo many of them that i don't know which is good and which is not good. Can someone clear this confusion for me and state which is the most safest iso loader. I've looked through devhook but it seems that there are way too many versions like .44 .46 .41a like wtf. Which is the best and safest version to use? Also, do any iso loader write to flash?

The best ISO loader at this time is definitely DevHook.

DevHook 0.51 is the latest version, which allows you to run most games as it emulates 3.01.

DevHook 0.5 and 0.51 write to flash when you set it up. But its nothing major, it just writes a configfile onto flash and its not that dangerous if you have the AC adapter plugged in and a fully charged battery.

What's the point of writing to flash. I don't want to write to flash. Which version of devhook would be safe to use without writing to flash?

All it does is write a config file to flash1.

Anyway, which firmware do you have?

For firmware 1.5, there is a DevHook installer which does not require flashing. Check here:
