I love your story,
It's funny when parents try video games, especially non-traditional ones, that are interesting to watch.
Your parents' concern is admirable, it's great when parents are protective like that. It always reflects humorously when they are concerned about you staying out late.
The funniest part of this story, is that you openly share all of this, within the context that you're twenty four years old and still living with your parents, who 'don't like you staying out late'. (Geez I sure do love italics today :D )
Don't feel bad, I was 'sheltered' for a time myself. It's just funny to hear one that makes my parents' extremes look less, well... extreme.
The story kind of reminds me of Nick Swardson's character in "Grandma's Boy":
"Dude, your bed is shaped like a car."
"Yeah, but it's a sweet car."

Rentings a suckers deal, kept me years from buying my own place. I gotta nice townhouse now. Have to do the family thing ya know.
Great story man, Im starting to get convinced to buy the wii, I was going to go with the xbox 360 on account of the current eye candy. But I dont have a High def tv, so the true incentives are obscured anyway. And so far the wii looks like its gonna be a wise choice. Fun wise with my girl, apart from the obvious. If only I could find one. Does anyone know? All gameshops and wal-marts are dry and if you dare ask they do nothing less of kicking you square in the funnies.

lol. I'll consent this one just because he said "come on guuyy".
Renting is a suckers deal, unless you haven't the means to buy. Then it's called 'reality'. Especially when you're married. If you're married or think you have dignity after the age of 21, while living with your parents it's then called being 'dillusional' lol.
I'm sorry, it was there.
But yes. BUY ONE! They are great fun. And yes, your parents(And/or your spouse) will play them :D

Well in the game they don't call it if thewy relize that there was no advantage. In real life you can get away with blowing the wistel 2 seconds late.

And I hate like when in call of duty 3, when you get shot on the side of the head, a piece of skull + grey matter doesn't get blown off, your nose doesn't bleed profusely and you don't defecate yourself...
They're video games, as realistic as they get, it will never compare to reality. Meaning calls will be off, missed. If games were broken down by reality, do you know how restrictive that would make the entire gaming experience. People would be asking for flags every time they slip on the soccer field, plays in football wouldn't gain + 80 yards. They're games because they're fun, other wise they would be chores.
Not trying to be a C*cksm*ker, just my 2 cents.
