Half-Life 2 Episode One Looping Sound problem

I have purchased Half-Life 2: Episode One, and whenever I play the game, I get a looping of sound.
I get this after about 45 minutes of playing time, and I don't know whats going on.
If anyone has had this problem or you know what to do, could you post?
