Hi guys, I got problem with my modded xbox. I haven't played it for a while (4-6 months). It was working fine last time I played, however when I tried to turn it on just now, I can't get to xecuter boot up. The xecuter thingie in front is just not turn on at all. When I open my xbox, the modchip have a blue light. Do you guys know what's the culprit here?
Could you give a little more information on what the system is doing. You said that the switch on the front isn't turning on? Is that the DIP switch that isn't turning on? Make sure that all the cables are connected inside the xbox. Is your Chip the solderless one or the solder one? If it's the solderless make sure that all the pins on the Xapt3r are on the right places. I've had problems with my system, and after a week of fixing, I finally got it working.
You could also try to get to the screen where you Flash your system. To get there, press both the eject button and power button, until the DIP switch shows a pinkish/purple light. Then just re flash the system.
sounds like you've got a LPC rebuild that one of the connections wasn't all that great on to start with :) I've got at least 50 of them in that were modded by someone else with those same problems and every time it's the LPC rebuild. with what you describe it sounds more like the DO wire has came off the MoBo becaue you have the blue light (you should have 3 lights) but no bank switch lights.
