I used that link before and when it was finished downloading the file that downloaded just had a thing that said "u cannot run this file because your computer does not know what site it was created at..." or something along those lines...is there any other upgraders i can use, or how do I fix this problem,
Thanks for the help btw.

Did you get that error when you tried to extract the EBOOT?
If so, install WinRAR and use it to extract the archive. Then copy it toms0:/PSP/GAME/UPDATE. Then go to GAME-->Memory Stick and select the update.

"20.now overwrite all the things on your psp ms with all the things that are in MS_ROOT folder"
WTF does that mean?

That means copy the files in the MS_ROOT folder to the root of your memory stick (i,e X:\ where X is the drive letter of your memory stick). Then press OK if it asks you to replace.

I began to use the youtube guide, and it seems that the f'n file only had about half of the stuff, is there any other way to get ROMS on my PSP, because this way is bullshit...or is there a simpler way?

I download that file, and do the WinRAR thing to it, and then I got everything except when I was supposed to have a purple and black box, instead it just said "game error" thing, so I kept going onto the next step, and when I checked my firmware, it still said I had 2.71...and I want ROMS so bad!!!:(

What does the root of your memory stick look like? (could you list the files in X:\ where X is the drive letter in your PSP).

Ok so download this:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/879
Now after you extract it and copy the contents of the MS_ROOT folder to the root of your memory stick, you should have these files in the root of your memory stick (i.e X:\ where X is the drive letter of your PSP).
-PSP (folder)
-h.bin
-patch.bin
-pspbtknf.txt
-pspbtknf_game.txt
-pspbtknf_updater.txt
-systemctrl.prx
-dh
In the PSP\PHOTO folder you should have:
-HEND (folder) and inside that there should be loadbinary.tiff and rand.jpg.
Are those files there?
