Hello everyone,I just found this forum and its fantastic, I spent all night reading on the psp. But?

Ive just got a psp with fm 2.5.

For me to play iso's using devhook or hombrew --[still confused on this on this], do i have to flash down to 1.5 using GTA method or can i flash up to 2.71 then use the downgrader to flash to 1.5 and then i can basically do anything mentioned in these forums with the psp?

please help me, and be nice.

Just upgrade to firmware 2.71. You don't need to downgrade. Firmware 2.71 PSPs can also play homebrew and ISOs.

Check this thread, the guy there had a similair problem except he has a firmware 2.6 (just follow what I said in this thread):
