av got devhooks .51 working (it rules by the way!) bt i cant get brother in arms to work!!!! it all starts ok then when you try and start story mode the screen gos blue and says "the game could not be started"

I have the same issue. I believe it is a bad UMD Rip of the game.

Use devhook 0.46 hybrid that should play it from what ive heard,ive got the game but havent tryed it yet as im playing metal gear

I have devhook 51 and have been able to get as far as actually selecting new game and the it black screens.

ok why wont devhooks .51 play brother in arms? bt when i put the same iso on dvhooks .46 it works fine!

Switching the FIRMWARE mode of DevHook 0.51 to firmware 2.71 may fix it.

Well since you said it works with firmware 2.71 in DevHook 0.46, I thought it would work in DevHook 0.51 as well.

Anyways, try the new DevHook 0.51.01 that has just been released:

Oh well. I guess you'll just have to use DevHook 0.46. But that isn't that much of a problem, is it?

BTW Are you using 3.02 emulation? And have you installed the configfiles to flash1?

it is a problem i want to play metel gear solid and dont want to changeing devhooks all the time and i cant get it to work on .46 and yes i flashed it. any other ideas?
