internet browser problems with devhook

i just downloaded devhook .46 to use the internet browser feature, but everytime i try to access the web i cant get a signal or connection , i dont know which setting is best to use , says weak signal or security path doesnt match , anyone know how i can configure my psp to work and open the web , thanks for any help

not sure what an ap is , i dont have a wireless router didnt know i needed one, my home connection is dial up , i thought the psp automatically picks up a signal without me needing to do anything , thanks for your quick reply

Nah the internet doesn't come from nowhere :)
You have to have a wireless router setup.
Also, ap= access point

im sorry i have to buy a wireless router and connect it to my home computer to make it work? how far could it work if i do it that way if im a few miles away , and is doing an access point better

lol somehow i thought it stole it from whoever signal is around wherever u are i really was looking forward to the internet browser thats why i dl devhook just for that feature mainly

No. You have to be quite close to a wireless router to go online with your PSP.

welcome back, glad u got everything cleared up , so u mean i have to be close to "MY" wireless router for it to work, not any wireless router ?
if i get a wireless router does my computer need to stay online for me to be able to go online on my psp

Well you can be close to any router. But the router must not have any security or you wont be able to access it.
If you get an ADSL router then no your compuetr doesnt have to be on.
