I'm just kind of curious? Why would anyone want to use their Remote on a PC/MAC? Is it just me, or are people really into this stuff? Sorry, I just really needed to let that out.

Ohh, I feel so much better...

Why would you like DavGerm4 said.
P.S I think windows is better even though mac ahs less viruses etc etc I still find that a PC can run 98.9% more games then a MAC and thats 80% reason why I have a Windows based machine and there is no freaking point of using a Wii-mote on a pc its like a mouse when not running games so why need it ??
I had to get that out too LOL!!

Well i guess it would be like have a wireless remote to play games on mac/pc. Also the apps that they are talking about use remotes already. Keynote is a presentation app and Front row is similar to windows media center that let to navigate, skip, FF, change voluam etc by remote. Also once the mouse feature is supported it would be like a wire less mouse. I used the app with my wii remote and ibook and worked. I dont see people useing this ever day, but as a game controller for mac/pc or a remote for presentations. Good work, looks like wii mod/hacks are taking off.

I know this is not a mod/hack for the wii per-say

I don't know what you think but it would be awesome if they developed even more this thing so that the mouse would move with the wiimote just like in the wii and then be able to play fps on your PC aiming with the wiimote XD that would be cool for PC Halo :O!

It's cool that it's been done now; don't get me wrong. I just don't think it's a terribly useful bit.

This thread is probably about to get slammed with posts from people specualting, asking, or making claims about it being used for a Wii emulator; which IMO is still a waste of time; considering the trouble, and necessary expense to make that work.

Anyways, if they plug it into shooters, and make it work on my windows pc; I'll give it a shot. I can always plug my pc into my tv with high def; so it might be worth the trouble to experiment a bit. Maybe.
