Im Gettin a g6 light and a supercard
will i need to flash my ds and would i have to dl any upgrades or anythin for my supercard if so where from. Also do i need to patch games and if so where from?

Why are you getting both a G6 Lite and a Supercard?
You will need to update both the G6 and Supercard, you can download the updates from http://www.dualscene.net
Both need the games patched, you can get the patching software from the same link, the G6 software is called U-Disk manager.
You won't need to flash your DS, but you will need to buy either a Superkey or Passcard3 to be able to use anything NDS related from these devices.

Okies, wel same info as above, just ignore the supercard bits.
If you havn't yet bought the items, I would recommend getting the Passcard3 instead of the Superkey as the Passcard3 is made by the same people who make the G6.

Not really, it's just to stay on the safe side as they may decide to lock out competitors devices in the future, it's happened before with others.

Only other thing I can think of is don't connect the G6 burner to your PC until you have installed the software or you will get all kinds of problems. Also don't connect just the burner, always have the G6 connected to the burner first, and ALWAYS use safely remove hardware or you will corrupt the G6 memory (which a big pain to fix)

I cant find the updates for the g6. ive font the u-disk manager and the loader or is that it?

You don't need to patch them for them to work, but if you want to be able to save more than 1 GBA game at a time you do need to patch them, which is just a simple case of copying the game over to your card using the gamemanager software.
EDIT: Sorry didn't see your other post (hint, use the edit button in future :P)
Anyhows the root is the top directory of your SD card (the first thing you see when you open it in Windows, before any folders etc.
As for a giid site, I use www.dgemu.com but they use s point system on the downloads, I rip most games from the carts myself though so have not needed to look for any other site.

one last noob question i hope
write how do i change DMA speed on U-Disk Manager
and can any1 tell me what it stands for plz thx
(SD: Trim Rom, 4xDMA, Software Reset)
i want to use those settings but i dont know what 4xDMA means as i cant find it on u-disk is it a different button like DoFAT or summit?
Ye i just found that u only get 4xDMA on M3 i think. But would DoFat do the same results as im usin a g6 and cant find a settings website for it and my friends seems to use summit like those settings and get the game to work. PlZ help
