So I recently bought Lumines 2 and I wish to back it up onto my 1 gig disk. Here lies the problem. The game itself is ~1.1g and after using PSP ISO Compressor v1.4 it had only changed to 0.97g. 1gig memory sticks can only hold 946mb since no form of memory is as they say they are. If anyone can help guide me using maybe UMD Gen or some other form to squeeze Lumines 2 onto the 1gig drive, I would greatly appreciate it.

Try taking out the movies (if any) and the sound.

1. First download UMDGen from here:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/689

2. Download a blank AT3 file from here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JKZ6PBR6

3. Download a blank PMF file from here:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5VM57P0O

4. Now open up your ISO in UMDGen and then go to PSP_GAME-->USERDIR and then look in there for any AT3 files (sound files) that you dont want and replace with the blank AT3 file

5. Repeat Step 4, except this time look for PMF files (movies) you dont need and replace it with the blank PMF file.

6. Go into PSP_GAME-->SYSDIR-->UPDATE and delete any files in that folder

7. Go to PSP_GAME-->SYSDIR and delete the BOOT.BIN

also set UMGen to delete dummy data. it can save several hundred mb sometimes.

Dude, use UMDGEN and convert the file format to CSO. That should help you out.
