First I've been a steady lurker on afterdawn for over a yr, so want to give props to all the contributors that have shared their knowledge & allowed me to find a solution to ALL my dvd previous backup issues. JaguarGod, Arnie Bear, Alkohol & countless others. I'm putting out this request for help on my problem as I haven't found any reference that addresses this anywhere. Trying to backup of Thin Red Line, I rip it with no problem using Decrypter with AnyDVD in background. However, when I run the output through VobBlanker I get this error message: caught exception trying to allocate audinfo # 463001. I have tried running Full Scan first, before blanking the previews, but no matter, VobBlanker still produces this error msg at 50% of VTS 04 which is the main file. The AUD column for VTS 04 shows 3 & I can only guess this has something to do with the audio track & my problem ... appreciate the help.
I don't recommend processing VobBlanker while AnyDVD is running in the background. However, the choice is yours -- that being said, some members has had success, but some has encountered rare issues.
The only DVD/movie I've seen/encountered that were having a glitch is SAW 3: UNRATED EDITION because it has 99 VTS. However, after updating to the latest VobBlanker 2130B4 (3 weeks ago) it's a piece of cake (yep, just like always) and now it's current is 2130B6. So, if you're using the latest version from VobBlanker 2130B6, you shouldn't have any issue at all.
Since I'm sucha VobBlanker-holic, all of my ripped (backups), I'd always edited, deleted, blanked all useless junks and process through the latest VobBlanker and I've never experienced any issue whatsoever -- so far everything has been processed flawlessly.
