I've tried everything. Was using clonedvd2 also but that stopped working as well. I have been using DVD Shrink for 2 years and now when it gets to the finalize stage of after encryption it begins burning and suddenly ejects the disk with error message. The error message is the following:

You should hit edit and remove your Nero Serial. Your topic is wrong, it's Nero that won't burn, not Shrink.

Are these the discs you've been using all along or are they a new batch?

CMC mag is junk media also .use Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim burning at 8x

make sure your drive/burner has up to date firmware ,check here

http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php

update Nero to 6.6.18 or try uninstalling it and doing a CLEAN reinstall

Why are you burning at this rate, try it at least at 4x, burning too slow is as bad as to fast. My old NEC only burns 4x max but it also does not like to burn at 2.4x on -R media, it only does 2.4x on RW media.

Also, go to Dell you need a firmware update for your burner, I believe it is now 2.03d.

http://www.dell.com

Type in your service tag and look up the drivers and get the new firmware for the burner. Yours is way old.
