Is anyone any good with power voltage?

I am looking for a power supply for my Cisco Pix 506E and have found one in the USA which is Power Supply 110/220 Volts AC

I live in the UK and wondering if this will work in the UK

it's a power pack so I can plug my UK power lead (a PC one) into the power pack then the other end in my UK cisoc Pix 506E

here is a pic

can anyone tell me if this would work?

cheers

Yes. It should take just a standard computer cord - the cords you would get there would just have the UK plug layour rather than the U.S. plug. I don't remember if it autosenses voltage or if you have to use a switch to set 220v rather than 110v, but make sure to do that if there is a switch.

-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

There is no switch on the Pix so I'm guessing it's auto sense,

thanks

It should work.. The complete specs would have been better than the pic. I have certain reservations about 220v psu's in the UK, especially US made ones. My mains out of the wall is always 240v and I have had problems with 220v equipment failing after a time due to being overrun.
Just so you know.. PSU's mains rating is usually +/- 10% and 240 is exactly 8% over the rated input value. That means the unit will be running right on the top of it's safety margin, with very little overhead for mains surges etc..
It derpends how good your local power is, but I can't see any real problems with this item from either a safety or reliability view. :-)
