Everyone says i need gta to mess around with downgraders or emulators (still dont get that part). I currently own a 2.8 version psp (it was 1.5 when i bought it but i was dumb and had to upgrade :S). Does GTA stand for Grand Theft Auto ??? I dont see how a game is required for this. Any assistance would be helpful.

Wow, you really took a bite off that sandwich. Im sorry to tell you but currently there is no possible way of downgrading from Version 2.8. You should have stayed on 1.5 if you wanted to enjoy homebrew.

Do not upgrade any further and be patient and they should release a downdater soon enough

Out of curiosity, what made you upgrade? Was it grand theft auto?

You may be in luck though soon. Flash0 and 1 were believed to be accessed on 2.8. This downgrader will not require gta either :D

I know im screwed in the homebrew and devhook (are they the same thing??) but I was just wondering why people said we needed GTA in some threads... What's so special about that game that is hacking enabled??
Oh and can i play around with the runtime of the psp for games to speed it up? Would that have negative effects on my psp
