i want to know how to upgrade psp fw 1.5 to 2.71 SE, can tell me the step and file that i need??? if already upgrade can i downgrade it back???

yes if you upgarde to SE, you can go back.

What is the benefit in upgrading to 2.71 SE?

What is 2.71 SE and how does this differ from 2.71?

2.71 SE-C is alot better than firmware 2.71. This is because firmware 2.1 SE-C allows you to run all homebrew just like in firmware 1.5. Also firmware 2.71 SE-C has a recovery mode which allows you to recover your PSP if it is semi-bricked. Also 2.71 SE-C allows you to load modules off the memory stick. So you can do things like listen to MP3s while in the VSH or playing a game as well.
