I'm thinking of buying psp and i have few questions.

1. Do i need a chip for my psp in order to play homebrew games?
2. How do i put games that i download from the internet into to the psp?
3. How will I be able to put alot of games on my psp if the biggest memory stick is only 1 gig?

1) no (depending on firmware)

2)you put them in the ISO folder and load app

3)the biggest stick is 4gb

You can't put alot of games onto your memory stick if you have 1 GB. You will probably be able to fit 2 full games (depends on the game) if theres nothing else on the stick.

However you could fit more on there if you completely rip the ISOs (i.e take out all the video, and audio).

Yeah, if you make them smaller, you can fit alot more. I could fit 5 games on a 512mb stick!

That really depends on the PSP you buy. You could get basically any firmware (ok maybe not anything below 2.5). Look on the box, you can tell by the letter on the label what firmware the PSP inside is. You can only play homebrew games if you get a PSP with firmware 2.71 or below. Having said that, you can also play homebrew on firmware 2.8 but not all homebrew is supported on that firmware.
