my dvd rom just a few hours ago stopped reading cd's burned cd's and dvd's. It started this afternoon when i was looking for an mp3 on some cd's, i looked at one right after the other now it wont read anything, when i open the tray to put a cd in the little light comes on but when i close it, it's like i didnt put anything in there. Any advice or sollutions would be greatly welcome as i am not much of a computer fixer.

Go to Device manager and unistall your drive then reboot. Windows will auto reinstall your drive. If that deosn't help then try this..
