hey guys, sorry to be such a noob and an annoyance, but this this haas been bothering me forever. i couldnt find anything to fix it, thus im starting this. i have fw 2.7 se-c and i have the MGS:PO iso. what i did was create the ISO folder in the root and copied my iso into there. when i try to start up my game, it doesnt work and juss displays a blank black screen. is there something im doing wrong? is there another way to do this? someone please help. id very much appreciate it.

You have to set up the new DevHook, use my guide:

He has 2.71 SE-C not 2.71. My guide works for 2.71 SE-C as well :)

yes i meant SE, but i thought that since it can run both kernels it messed something up with devhook.

Nope it works fine. I have 2.71 SE-C and that method works fine for me. It has 2 kernels but only one kernel is used at a time so its basically the same as 1.5 when it comes to running DevHook.

wow, it worked. thanks guys. i really appreciate it. im playing mgs so much my eyes are popping out. i just have one question, now when i wanna play mgs will i have to go through the whole process of flashing 3.02?
