S4T has Matrix DVD+R DL, 25/$30. Take a 10% off coupon and $10 with Google Checkout comes to $17 delivered. They're made by Ricoh (not Richo like I posted earlier - jeesh!) and have pretty good reviews. They're not Verbs, but to me it may be worth a try.

rcm999- Richo ? ( TYPO ? Ricoh?) If that's what you meant ? have'nt Used Ricoh DVD+R DL Media ! But Have Burnt 100- 4X Ricoh DVD+R SL disc with no problems ! - That Being said though if S4T= Shop4Tech.com You might want to rethink the whole deal as they have'nt had the best of reputations around here ! But if you want to experiment with $17.00 I suppose that's youR Perrogative ! Good Luck & let us know how you make out ? happy Holidays !

rcm999- Well Good luck to you both then ! Never dealt with shop4tech , because of their former reputation ! But I'm glad they've done good by you ! & Ricoh my limited experience with them so far is good ! The disc I previously spoke of 100 out of 100 burns sucessful & good ! I've also bought Some 16X OfficeDepot Media which is either RICOH or Ritek depending on Luck or perhaps spindle size 50/100 ect... But have'nt gotten to them yet !Burning my way through some MIJ (Sony - Sony Mid Codes ) 8x DVD-R right now ! Hopefully they'll both be as good as their lower speed media ! again Good luck & happy Burning!!!!!!!!!!! Ciao!

FYI, my experience with Ricoh - specifically, MID RICOHJPN - has been terrible. I've been going through a lot of stuff and find them at the top of the failure list, behind only CMC-MAG and Advanced/AMR. Beware.

Also, I've said it before but it bears repeating - I'm not too keen on the concept of giving big brother - ahem, I mean Google - my credit card and other info. Something about giving the world's largest search engine and data warehouse that kind of data is unsettling. I'm not sure exactly how the sale works on their side of things but Google probably reimburses the seller the $10. Call me cynical, but I don't know of too many corporations which give away money out of the goodness of their hearts, unless they want something in return.

-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.
