I am using Nero Recode under recode main movie to Nero digital to delete commericals in a movie I made from the TV I am using the trim movie feature but am having problems. There are commericals throughout the movie. How do I go through the movie and delete each commerical so I have a commerical free movie? I tried moving to the first commerical on the start frame and then on the end frame I go to the end of the commerical. I then click ok. When I click the play button the commerical plays. I thought it would be deleted. Do I go through and trim the parts I want to keep and that ends up deleting the commericals? Also, after I trim the first part how do I go to the next part? Do I need to click through the "next buttons" and save the first trim and then start over or can I go through the whole procedure and trim every scene. I thought it would be easy. I thought I just select trim movie select the start and end frames and then delete what I don't want.

Nero is not a great choice for cuting out commericals and such. You would have to run it many times and make kinda mini movies for each part to keep then peive them together at the end of a long process. You might want to look into womble or something for what you are attempting.

You are using the wrong part of Nero to do what you are trying to do.
You need to use NeroVision to edit commercials from your video.

1. Start NeroVision and select MAKE MOVIE.
2. Use the BROWSE FOR MEDIA button to select your video.
3. Now you can drag your video down to the VIDEO TRACK.
4. Use the SPLIT button at the beginning of the commercial and at the
end of the commercial. Then select the segment you cut by clicking
on it and press DEL to delete it. Do this for each commercial.
5. Click EXPORT and choose you output video settings.

That's it.
