I've just started using DVD Lab Pro and love the setup more that Nero, but my problem is that it won't accept AVI's. Most of the videos that i have are in AVI format.
I've tried WinAVI...it keeps telling me that it can't read my Windows Media 9....but i have media player 11 on my computer.
Can anyone help please....this is frustrating.

you might try using vso convertxtodvd2 to do your converting it works great for converting, it has a trial version and it will leave a watermark until you buy the program, money well spent

Buying a DVD/DivX player is money spent even better, since you don't have to spend money for DVDs and you can put 6*700 Mb AVIs into a DATA DVD (4.3 Gb) with no experiance and no additional time required (except the burning time).
I don't know the DVD Players price in your country, but in mine we're talking of 50 US$, more or less.

I finally have the program (WinAVI)working. My next issue is can someome recomment a program that will convert the AVI's to a format that DVD Lab can take? I don't know if DVD Lab takes Mpeg or SVCD....i guess is just need someone to point me in the right direction.

You said that you have got WinAVI to work, you can use that to convert to MPEG2.
