James Bond Nightfire. Strange error!

I have ps2 PAL.I got cd based ps2 James Bond Nightfire (NTSC) in .mds .mdf format. I used scanlite 3.7 and put that on DVD-R with Nero 6. Booted with swap mgic 3.6 plus. works great! but when i entered multiplayer mode and pressed start, the game hanged up! is there any fix for this or any other way to burn the image on dvd. the image is around 860 mb so it wont fit on a cd i assume. can somebody please tell me why its happening? is it because PAL-NTSC conflict? I have even checked with NTSC booting on swap magic.
