i got a Acer with SP2 on it,and i have audio problems when ripping anything!

trying AoA dvd ripper it says for Audio Track:

??? Mpeg1 2ch (0xc0)

it rips the video fine,but the audio is awful and it skips..super dvd ripper i had problems with,uninstalled it,tried magic dvd ripper,that wouldn't rip a DVD+RW but would rip a actual DVD,but gave me a audio could not be present mpeg1/mpeg something or whtever...but the audio was awful for the dvds i did rip.

i'm very confused as to why this is happenning...i've tried downloading codecs audio ones that doesn't work,i have the up to date DivX codec,and everything else video or audio wise works FINE except when i try to rip something.

i could really use some advice here cause i have websites i run that require the videos i rip and i can't perform my work if i cna't get this to work and i'd really hate to have to pay to get my laptop looked at when he might not even know whats wrong!
