I think he would know dude. No one has really figured out how to burn a Wii game yet. They've tried them in their PC, but the PC cannot read them. I'm pretty sure that Dazila knew that, and that is probably why he said it Does Not Work.

90% of people on here will say no
Even the other you tube video "proving that it works" is full of crap the guy supposebly boots the Wii Loader and puts a disc in eev though it looks like the video cuts and starts again and even though at the top of his tv it says Av1 whiohc is what happends after reseting.
Any person should know mods dont come 2 weeks alater instead months and a lot of work and if its nintendo dont expect nuffin for a year at least due to their copyright
P.S tabletpc you shouldnt say that the wii can play in 1080i??

They could have just made a well-timed video on the computer and put it in the DVD player...
I did that once on my computer to show "the first working GameCube emulator" as a prank on a now-defunct message board. People believed it. I just made a video of me playing GameCube, imported it into my computer, threw together a fake interface in photoshop and overlayed my video on top in Final Cut Pro.
PS there is another topic with the exact same info, this is just a copy and paste of my reply over there ;)

You have no idea what you are talking about. Isohunt is a torrent search site that searches public trackers for torrents. Anyone can post any file on any public tracker and isohunt could bring it up in a quick search, fake or not. Public trackers are hardly the place to get accurate information and files from. Sometimes I wonder where you dream up your comments/opinions from...

because i have downloaded it and am currently using the iso to build a patch for wii games so they will boot and i have some very interesting things that have come up like the boot log file that boots the wii disks is also a boot discription file that tells the wii not only to boot the disk but how to boot the disk and which read order to go in to decode the disk the rsa decryption system is a real pain right now because without the digital code to run it the disk is worthless

hey, tabletpc, why do you believe crap like that? remember, it took years to develop a chip or software tool to backup and play gamecube backups so what makes you believe that it must be that easy to develope everything in such a short time for the wii???????????? hey please dont be mad but use your brain dude. ;-)

currently downloading whatever it is you posted so i cannot comment on that
from what i have seen, it would be possible for somebody to get something working within a couple of week (it IS possible) but unlikely
to comment on the original post (again an again an again)
there are various reasons why this is most likely fake
from the zooming in to the AV but most of all because....
NO hacking group in the world would announce something and make people wait for it for other 3 weeks (which i believe is when that vid first started)
why??/
because people like to do things first, before anyone else, to beat everyone else.
if the group (if there even is one) really had a hack - you would have seen it as soon as you had seen teh vid

does anyone remember the psp and how sony said they could not hack the psp and within a week they had a hack using the eboot loader through the picture channel on the psp
its the rsa secure issues rsa secure is suppose to boot a digital code that the system reads to boot games but the code has a backdoor all rsa secure devices have a back door it's a hole that has been used several times to hack the psp the wii has the same system the same holes and all the same problems
so using a hacked boot file to boot the software isnot impossible if you know what you are doing
for instance did you know that all wi diska are incrypted into css format and all you need is a css decrypter that decrypts into iso format and you can download any wii game into iso but you cannot boot it this is the issue worst because of the form of security they use the iso cannot be burned easly as well so far the only app is achohol 120
so i have learned a lot about wii disks more then most people have
just takes some studing time to learn and some help from differrent wii sites

Although I believe the hack is fake, no one should compare the hack time of the Wii to the GCN. The Wii is almost the same system as the GCN (Hardware and Code) and since we already have a "preliminary" hack thanks to the GCN hack, it could be a possiblitiy that a Wii hack is right around the corner.

if you look at the vid at the top of the page when the wii main screen loads first time it loads different firm ware than the second. there is a curved line at the bottom of the screen, and the second time the line is straight. i think there is 2 wii's!!
