Hey, i've had my ipod for a while now and a couple weeks ago it just stopped playing the music, no sound seems to be coming from the headphones and yes I have tried different headphones. Is there anything I can do to fix it (I'll try anything, warranty has run out) another weird thing also is it says its playing and it will play on the computer.
Any suggestions?

That sounds like more of a hardware issue, that can't really be fixed by you.

I would of course try Restoring the iPod before declaring it dead.
