Hi all,

I just got an Epson P-5000 (fantastic device by the way, incredible picture quality) however I am having problems trying to format movies for it. The screen is 640x480, and I want to simply have a widescreen movie in letterbox format. However, whenever I rip a movie I am getting a 4x3 format.

I am using DVD Decrypter, which seems to work OK, but I can't see any option in there for a 16:9 output - everything comes out squished into 4:3.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks, AJ

There's a free program that may do what you want: http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=DVDPatcher

I used to use it until I found VideoReDo and from what I can remember it worked quite well. You're probably best googling for some kind of guide on using it.
