Problem with GTA: SanAndreas Game Save

Ok, so i am having a problem with by gta san andreas game save. All i did was that i took the gta game save folder "BASLUS-20946GTA50000" and copied it onto my pc hard drive by transfering it through FTP using ulaunch.elf. I then took a game save file from gamefaqs.com and extracted it onto my memory card. When i loaded the game, it couldnt read the game save file. I then deleted the folder on my mc and put my original game save file back on my memory card. I reloaded the game and it says that it is a corrupted file. I dont understand, i put the files exactly where there were before. Any ideas?

Get AR Max much easier to do it with and make sure that the save you download is for that device cause there is some for codebreaker and others they are in different compressed format also make sure the save is for your regions game if your game is PAL download the PAL not NTSC because somne NTSC games are different to PAL so the save will not work.

well, even if there is a problem with the regions, shouldnt my original save file still work?

IF U change the folder(baslus/besles)name it won't work
Do'nt put game save (in pc)in a folder like gta save in a folder named after it
IN SHORT COPY IT ONTO PC AS IT IS AND PASTE IT BACK AS IT WAS
