Thanks for your time. I use DVD Decrypter ver 3.5.4.0. Sometimes with AnyDVD ver 6.0.9.7. to remove the nasties. I then use CloneDVD2 ver 2.9.0.3 with my Plextor PX-716A burner. I have burt many DL DVD's in the past. My problen is Clone DVD2 creates the image fine from my HD but when it starts to write it makes it to about 50% on the meter give or take 5% and then it stops writing. When I remove the disc from the burner, you can see that the disc has been written on right out to the outer edge (as if the disc was full). It seems I can no longer write to the 2nd layer. I'am assuming the burner writes the 1st layer and then the 2nd. I did select the DVD+/-RDL box in Clone DVD2. The burn log states: -Processing started
-Successfully removed layer
breaker
-Target size sufficient
transcoder dissabled
I have now made 3 coasters using Fujifilm DVD+R DL & 3 coasters using Memorex DVD+R DL Both media have worked in the past and now neither work. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

first off...... that's crappy media, baby! buy the good stuff... Verbatim DLs....... they are the only DLs to buy!!! I don't trust the other stuff!

second of all if you are burning DLs use ImageBurn! It does a better job on DLs!

after ripping to hard drive use ImageBurn, it's free:

IHoe is 100% correct! I just let Imgburn build the ISO from the disc and don't rip it to the HDD first. Just my preference. Burn disc at 2.4X and do NOTHING else. Here are some guides:
