well this question has been going around can we backup wii games the answer is yes but i don't know how still

{isohunt} has released a torrent of redsteel on the internet less then 6 hours ago the torrent already has hit 77 carriers and people are working fast to get it to boot so far one big question still remains how

no one knows yet but hopefully will be explained soon

U cant call it a backup until its been burnt to a disc

I haven't been able to get my DVD drives to recognize anything from the discs on my computer (linux and windows). I assume they might have added a data dumper between the Wii's dvd drive and the motherboard, and then downloaded that into a computer. I was thinking on how that would work but there's no way I'm opening up my Wii because there's no way I can afford a 2nd one, let alone find one!

Red Steel is a game published by Ubisoft for Nintendo's Wiiconsole.
It was developed by the Ubisoft Paris studio and was unveiled in the May 2006 issue of Game Informer. Red Steel was the first game for the Wii platform to release in-game screenshots, thus giving the public an idea of what the console was capable of. It was released on November 19, 2006, in synchronisation with Nintendo's seventh generation
console, Wii.

weird huh how did they get the wii disks to burn under Alcohol 120 i know it recognizes the wii disks but when you try to make a image it fails with a read out like this

dvd read error 01
dvd read error 02
dvd read error 03
dvd read error 04

and so on untill it hits 23454554 on the dvd then it stops and fails

weird

i would almost say it has a anti dumper built into the disk

r u sure its a real rip i mean 432mb rared means unrared about 2gb that game its self looks too good and lengthyl to be around 2gb

You never know. There are xbox games that have had a lot of work put into it, and it is around 2GB. But ya the Wii is a newer system, and they may have crammed more information on the disc.

We wont know until there is an actual thing to run backups and dam i hope that wii laoder thing is true even though it looks fake that would be great.
