my cd/dvdw drive does not show up on my computer

my two cd drives, do not show up in My Computer System Folder. i went to the device manager and it has the ! bubble next to the two devices. i have tried searching for new drivers because i think that might be the problem. i've read a lot of forums about various other cd drives but nothing seems to help my problem. i have an eMachines T6542 model with a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW Ts-H552B drive and a Lite-On CD-Rom LTN-489S drive. i've been to all the manufacturers' websites and can't get any help from their support or downloads. Please Help!!

Right click on them, in Device Manager, uninstall them, then reboot. If that doesnt't cure the problem, then you need to get inside of your machine and make sure that the jumper configurations are set correctly. One should be jumpered as master and the other jumpered as slave.
