Hey guys, I always have trouble remembering which media is junk and how to read codes, so I always just buy Taiyo Yuden from one of the reputable sellers. I have burned 600 TY discs and not a single coaster.

With that being said, I came across some "deals" that seem pretty good. However, I am leery of buying junk, so I would like your input.

verbatim is excellent media- Right up there with Taiyo Yuden ! And other than the ones you ordered being 8x speed which some members prefer there is nothing wrong with your purchase ! I have dealt with buy.com twice and bought verbatims both times They package them extemely well! ( in a big box compared to the spindles size ! ) I have ordered media online from other retailers without shipping problems as well though most get by with a just big enough box ! Verbatims always a good choice , like Taiyo yuden ! and a lot easier to find than Sony MIJ ( Taiyo Yuden's) media - No looking for tiny print saying Made in japan ! no searching for the spindles with the white octagon foam spacer on top ! Just Grab verbatims & go ! Though I try To keep up with what's good in dvd media & like yourself tend to prefer Taiyo Yuden when I can find a deal on it ! I find myself more and more getting verbatims - more available , Equally as good ( for My uses ) & often cheaper ! & unlike some other brands that seem to change OEM's every other shipment - Verbatims are Verbatims ( except for the ones that I think creaky Bought that are made my Taiyo Yuden for Verbatim) But Those are'nt available in the USA I don't THink ? Anyhow Sorry to give such a long answer but Short version ( VERBATIMS Excellent -Not Junk ) Enjoy
