I was searching this forum for a few hours now and I couldn't find anything about this, except all kinds of old stuff. My PS2 is almost dead, it can only read cd's, I have a modbo760 in it so i hoped i could stil play some games. My original dvd games were kind of old so it was easy to find ripkit from dvd to cd. I used the ripkits, and got iso files. In the readme of the ripkit said to burn the iso in mode2 cd-xa using CDRWIN, everyting seemd so easy but the only problem is that we are in 2006 an since then cdrwin no longer has that burning mode included, i tried an older version and it didn't recgnzie my asus cdrw. The file is in ISO and not bin or other formats, that's the way the ripkit made it. I realy need help.

Use IsoBuster to convert the iso to a bin/cue file.

But if I use iso buster to make it a bin file then doesn't that changes the way the cd is supposed to be burned, the imege can be burned but my PS2 doesn't want to boot it up, there has to be a cd burning software that's still supports mode2 cd-xa burning like the old cdrwin. If some of you had the same problem please help.

you need to convert it to the correct mode first (mode 1/2352) and
like ace said, you can use isobuster or a program called CDmage to do that

CDmage

http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/CDmage/965567220/1

for isobuster, dont just use the option tab,and convert it to bin as it wont work, you need to do this:-
load in the image
right click on "session 1"
"extract session 1 <image>
RAW (*.bin,*.iso)
extract it
then use any cd burning software to burn the image

Ok so i take isobuster and then convert the image, i still have one more question, plz bare with me because i am romanian and it's a little bit harder to understand. After I do this and burn the image to a disk, will my playstation with modbo760 be able to boot it and see the disk as a game? I am asking this because in the ripkit readme said in order to work i have to burn it with mode2 cd-xa.
