I have read how to play homebrew on Wii but have a question regarding ROMS. I have few z64 rom backups how do I convert them into .dol files to run on SDLOAD?

first sdload doesn't work any more unless you have a much older version of the gamecube action replay device the new version of the action replay for gamecube doesn't work with sd load because they have blocked the game code not the master code so you can no longer boot it

and you cannot convert backup roms from the internet you need the dol roms from other sites not allowed to be listed here

also all though sd load is a cool idea you have to relize it costs you money inorder to use it

you need the gamecube sd memory card adapter which is quite pricey because you have to import the device from japan because it is not availible in the us

I can get action replay to load on Wii, I am new to sdload and sd cards but seem to have a problem loading on sdcard. I formated sd card using fat in winxp, ran sdpatch.exe and got success in cmd. I think I am having a problem with the next step. I am supposed to copy sdloaderbin to the root directory of the sd card. How do I do that? Where is the root directory? Can anyone give a step by step on how to prepare sd card with sdload correctly. When my AR asks to open lid I am just ejecting ar game disk from Wii. after that I just get a blank screen.
Help??

I got the .dol file in SDload to work. Image of spinning box. Now how do I create .dol files from my old N64 games?
