Has anything replaced dvd backup 3.1 yet?

I've been using dvd backup for a couple years now to decrypt the dvds im backing up and its been working great up until yesterday when i upgraded from mac osx3 to osx4. I keep trying it but only half of the dvd gets into the computer. It looks like all the files are there but theres only 3 gigs instead of 7. whats wrong with my software all of a sudden. Is it incompatable with the new operating system. I tried to copy directly to hard disc without removing encryption and it all copied, so its just the program.
If i cant use that one any more then what else is out there for mac users (excluding fast dvd copy). Im a fan of freeware myself.
but yeah if any one can help me it would be greatly appreciated.
