I've had the same problem for some time now in the OEM versions (version 3) and now the full version 4 (via the 30 day demo I just installed). I've tried this on three different computers with the same results using two different MiniDV camcorders. I want to use the direct to disc recording feature of Nero vision, but I get an error EVERY time. As soon as I push record, it errors within one to two seconds and says it can't perform my wish. I've tried messing with settings, different discs, etc. I have a ton of DV tapes I want to transfer to DVD but can't find a quick and easy solutions to this without going to the trouble of burning all 18 tapes to the hard drive and making DVDs from there. I just don't have the time for that! Since I'm burning some DV tape as I type, I can't give you the error message - but has anyone else seen this problem? Is there an easy fix or do I need to paste the error message?
