i have just installed my x-ecuter 2.6 ce on my v1.1 x-box and i tryed a backed up game and it cant read the disk am i doing anything wrong do i have to have a diffrent dash if i have a chip some1 plz help

You have to flash a hacked bios and have a dashboard like Evox, to be able to play backups. What dashboard do you have now?

the microsoft 1 the bios is flashed is there a installer for the dashbored

Yeah, get AID 3.0, or AID 3.10 which is auto-installer deluxe. I think the only you can get it is from torrents. Basically it just installs a dashboard(or many apps) for your with one press of a button. You need to burn it to a dvd. just google AID 3.0, or AID 3.10.

but if my xbox wont read a disk with a backed up game on it why will it read this?

It will, but maybe you didn't make a successful backup. Like burned the iso to an incompatible or unreadable disc for your particular xbox.

Have you made successful backup or is this your first try?
What dashboard do you have?

i downloaded a back up off the ionternet (its a game i use to have but broke)

I dont help pirates. But i will tell you this: If the game broke, buy a new one. Then once you have the original, you'll be able to make a successful backup.

i aint a pirite i actaly did brake the game and id prefer to download the back up rarther than riping them to much hassle but thanks to you i have it working thanks mate

dose any1 know what the max size hard drive i can use with a x-ecuter 2.6 ce and if they do any recemendations?
