Hello all

Now this might seem like a right stab in the dark, however my mate is having a problem with his iPod 30GB video. He has 3 music videos he has downloaded (i understand from Limewire of Morpehus) which on his iTunes has it's own folder on the left hand side with the libary etc etc.

Now, not using those p2p programmes myself i'm struggling to advise him but i'm going to his next week to have a look myself. He's not very knowledgable so my first guess is they are .avi files which obviously wont transfer. I have given him the jodix converter but he's not used it. Now they are on his iTunes which confuses me as you can't get .avi's in the libary from my understanding (ive just tried it on mine too) so i take it they must be under these folders he has for Limewire and Morpehus.

So what will he have to do if they are in those folders? Sounds like when he downloads them they go there automatically. Do they go onto his hardrive?

If he is downloading them, then they are going onto his hardrive. If they are in iTunes at all then they are in his iTunes library. Does he have any other videos on his iPod? He may not have the check box to upload videos ticked off.

From what i understand he doesn't have any videos on his iPod. Where about will the videos be on his hardrive? Hadn't even thought about if he's checked a box, what check box is it and where is it?

You'll have to check in Limewire to see where he is downloading the files to. My iPod isn't with me (shocking I know) but to change that setting it is either in the iPod tab, or under Edit -> Prefrences and somewhere in there. Should only take a minute or so of poking around to find it. It just says something about uploading videos.
