Pardon my ignorance. I have had no problem in the past downloading, opening and listening audio files of various books and lectures but have failed utterly with music. Perhaps some kind reader can help me.
I recently used BitLord to download a Mozart symphony, which it did splendidly. However, when I examine the file in Windows Explorer, it appears to consist of 4 files - cdimage.ape,cdimage.cue. mozart.disc and image.jpg. With previous audio files - as mp3, you simply clicked and played but not with these!!
Is there a procedure to be followed? Could you please lead me through it. I have tried else where but to no avail.
Sincerely
Vinaigre

Not familar with audio cue files but a cue file is simply an image that is burned to CD: http://www.tsyle.com/how_to_burn_cue_files.php I use Nero but I believe CDRWin or MagicIso can be used and I also keep burn speed around 12x - 16x. Edit: you also might want to consider uninstalling BitLord, it's not too well thought of here, utorrent is a good choice or I was happy with BitTornado when I used it.

Many thanks for your informative reply. Much appreciated. A further (stupid?) question. As I have not got Burning Nero software, is the whole point of the exercise to burn the downloaded file (cue, ape, jpg etc) to a cd?. My initial thought was to play it as an mp3 file from the hard drive.
Thanks for your patience.

As I know nothing of audio cue files, I have no idea how to get it to play on your harddrive. If it was a video, I use Isobuster but not too sure if that would work. Anyway, you can try it: http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=141726 I'm sure someone can tell you how if this doesn't work and I'm pretty sure Nero has a trial if you wish to go that route. PS: if I knew that first site had a popup asking you to download anything, I wouldn't have used it.
