Can someone tell me if there is anything wrong with the cue file sheet? I'm still having trouble with loading files from this site to burn. Please can anyone help me??

Usually there's a bin and a cue file. Do you have two files? The cue file sheet usually contains the name of the bin file to be burned. Are you sure this isn't an archive that needs to be opened?

Thisis downloaded from a DJ's site. He makes the cue file from his non-stop mixes. When I go to import it in Nero 7. I get an error message. This is the acual file that I'm trying to import. I downloaded it from his site to my desktop. Then I open up Nero to burn it to a disc. Yet, I still get an error message. I did it twice two days ago. Now, I get error messages for some reason. Any thoughts?

If you open the cue file in an edit app. You will see it looks like this.

You should download the file it is calling for first.

(EDIT) Forgot to say you may need to right click on that link and select save link as to download it. Depends on your browser. You will want both the cue and the file in the same folder.

I just downloaded the file and cue. After looking at it a bit. I would likely cut it into tracks and make the disk that way. I am not much of an audio guy but I think there will be problems with Nero unless it is cut into tracks first.

I got it sorted here. My wife loves the cd. She is surfing around on that site it came from now. Make the cue like this and put the file and cue in same folder.

It worked great for me this way in Nero 7590a. Should work in any version.

I'm confused now. Are you saying I have to import the file that I downloaded from the site. Plus, all of this other stuff with it? Originally I imported the file that I downloaded and Nero extracted the songs by itself. If that is the case. Maybe there is a setting that got unset? If so, how can I set the software back to do this? So I won't get the error message again? It's a great site. I contribute financially to his site when I can. I want him to stick around. I have made many CD's from his site.

All that other stuff is just info inside the que file. A cue file is just a text file with que extention. It gives the burning app or the mp3 player the info as to where and in what order the tracks are to be burned or played. You have to have the mp3 file the cue is for. What the cue is doing in this case is breaking down the single mp3 file into tracks for an audio cd.

(EDIT) When you say the file you downloaded are you talking about the mp3 or just the cue?

I finally figured it out. I fixed my problem. I wasn't putting the cue file and the mp3 in the same folder. I'm such a nut. Anyway, thank you all for your help with this. I also realize that I need more memory for what I'm doing. I'm going from 512 Ram to 1 gig of ram by next week. Again, thank you.
