hi i wanna connect my wii up to the net using my wireless router. i know nintendo are bringing a usb connecter for this does this mean ive gota buy the nintendo one to send the signal to my wii or can i use a standard one which you would use for a laptop for example?

ok you do not need a usb adapter you just need a wireless internet router nothing else no usb adapter the usb adapter is for lan connection only the wireless adapter is built into the wii all you need is a wireless router

thanks for the reply but i still cant seem to connect it up to the router it finds it ok and then it tests the connection and says failed after a short while.is there a guide to doing this yet?

no not really

i think someone should write on though it would help people loads

did you check to make sure your network connection isn't wep protected
