Hey man, I'm pretty sure you can use any sd card. Eb Games sells wii sd cards, so yea, if I were you, I'd just buy those, just to be safe. 1gig is about 60 bucks, and the 2 gig is 100.

I know that you can use any kind of SD card. I have a 512 Micro SD, and put it in it's adapter, and it works just fine. Don't buy the ones at EBGames, because they are more pricy, and just have the word Wii on it. Try going to NewEgg, they have some pretty good deals.

You have to connect the wii to the net if you want to save games to the SD card and transfer saves because the Firmware 1.0 that you get with the wii only lets you browse photos and play MP3's and Videos of your SD cards if you upadet the firmware via wireless to 2.0 it gives you all of that + the option to transfer saves etc.
Dam I hope so badly that they add a USB mass storage device support in the next update either 2.1 or 3.0

Just note, that any MICRO SD Memory card will work. Yeah, they sill make the "non-micro" ones; at least, Sony does.

@dazila - This is to be achieved by Nintendo within the next few months; however, if you can find any USB Bluetooth stuff, it already works for the Wii. Also, if Nintendo doesn't come out with it, some modders are planning on making some homebrew software to allow this. Just be patient.
