Im thinking about purchasing a ds and a ds-x, but i want to know if 512mb is enough space to hold a fair amount of ds games on. It would be nice if someone could give me an estimate of how many ds games i can fit onto 512mb. Also, is putting videos onto the ds-x fairly simple? And finally what is a respectable site that i can purchase the ds-x from that has good customer care, shipping/handling and etc..?

How many is a fair amount? Games can be up to 64MB. You can probably fit around 10-20 max

10-20 is perfect, i can go online with my backup copies right?. like if i use my backup version of mario kart, can i go online for mulitplayer with it on a ds-x?

Yes

Also, larger games keep coming out. Apparently they can be up to 512MB, but no game is that large yet. You can fit 10-20 of the current games out
